Embossed with her signature ladybug motif, this powder could only be M·A·C Vera. Three shades in both pearl and matte finishes. Effortless to blend, provides a dynamic highlight for face or eyes.

| Sunday Afternoon | Bright pink, Bright fuscia, Soft pale pink with white pearl | Pearl & Matte | $28 US, $33.50 CAD | Limited Edition| 12 grams
I won’t beat around the bush. Sunday Afternoon fails on all fronts. It’s ashy. No “bright” pink anything happening over here. I swatched each colour 3 times, and it still looks completely faded. When I mixed them together, it gave the best colour pay-off, but of course, it was light pink, ashy, and reflective at the same time. I can’t co-sign on this one at all.
| Flower Fantasy | Pale coral with slight gold pearl, Slightly blue pale pink, Soft pale salmon | Pearl & Matte | $28 US, $33.50 CAD | Limited Edition| 12 grams
I didn’t think it could get worse than Sunday Afternoon… well, hello Flower Fantasy! I should have known better when the powder is described as “pale” three times. This thing looks SOOO ashy on my skin! The colour pay-off is terrible as well. I really dug my fingers to get a good swatch, and it’s still barely noticeable.
LOVES:
- Cute product design
LOATHES:
- SUPER ashy-looking
- 4 out of the 6 shades are described as “Pale,” which of course will make this completely unflattering on pigmented skin
- Poor colour pay-off
FINAL WORD:
Hated it! If you are NC or NW45 & up, these powders are absolutely, unequivocally, indisputably a BrownGirlFailure
I love this review!! LMAO I knew they were going to be crap. They might as well be fancy, overpriced, paperwieghts!
Right??
