Vera: Undercurrent Pearglide Intense Eye Liner

Vera: Designer Purple Pearglide Intense Eye Liner

| Black Swan | Black with pearlized pigments | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

Black Swan is a rich and intense black jam-packed with lots of silver and irredescent sparkle.  It’s a gorgeous alternative to a plain black liner.

| Designer Purple | Iridescent violet | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

Love love love this one!  Designer Purple is warm jewel-toned purple.  Not too blue, not too red.  It’s pigmented and lovely!

| Industrial | Periwinkle Grey | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

Industrial has a greyish-blue undertone topped with lots of bright baby blue sparkle.  On my skin, it looks more like a very pigmented ice blue, but you can still see the opalescent dimension in it.  To be frank baby blue eyeshadow or liner on brown skin, is not my cup of tea.  But if you’re into it, you’ll like this one.

| Petrol Blue | Deep navy with pearlized pigments | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

I have the hugest love affair with deep, rich blues.  I’m obsessed.  Petrol Blue did not disappoint at all!  It’s intense and very, very blue.  It had a dark cobalt undertone, but reflects true blue.  It’s like Deep Truth eyeshadow, but more intense and reflective.

| Black Line | Black with gold pearlized pigments | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

Black Line is gorgeous.  There are so many gold specks in the formula, that you can barely tell it’s in a black base.  It reminds me of heavily tarnished antique gold.

| Undercurrent | Teal with pearlized pigments | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

Wow…. this… Undercurrent is a difficult colour to describe, but dang, it’s so nice!  Even looking at the pencil, it looks so ethereal and reminds me of the deep ocean and mermaids (is that weird? haha).   It’s a vivid teal base with green opalescent shimmer.  It’s a lot more vivid in person than in my swatch.

| Lord It Up | Bronze with pearlized pigments | $15 US, $18 CAD | Permanent | 1.2 grams

Lord It Up is a rich chocolatey-bronze shade with beautiful golden specks.  It looks very similar to Teddy Eye Kohl but much more fabulous.

LOVES:

  • Every single one applies SUPER smoothly!! No tugging at all.
  • Goes opaque in one to two swipes
  • Lasts for-ev-er! 12 hour wear for sure
  • Intense colour pay off; no pale/ashy colours here
  • Every liner is wearable
  • Smudge-resistant

LOATHES:

  • CANNOT wear these in your waterline!!!!!

FINAL WORD:

What else can I say?? I’m so happy these are permanent now, so you don’t have to rush to get one, but definitely stop into a MAC so you can fall in love like I did.  These Pearlglides are definitely BrownGirlFriendly!
